Eating out & Bingeing
According to the latest information from Reuters Health, New York,
women taking their meal not at home tend to lose control and overeat. The latest researches have revealed
the fact that ladies who frequently dine out often overindulge, regardless of their usual
eating habits.
The scientists emphasize that restaurants may be a high-risk
challenge especially for dieters and binge-eaters, since one-third of all binging "episodes"
occur in the restaurants.
Many experts state that an American tradition to dine out is one of
the possible reasons of the general adiposity of the nation. The most crucial factors that make restaurants
dangerous for those who keep diet are huge portion sizes and fast food, largely presented in the majority of
snack bars.
According to statistics, persons that dine out eat excessive 200-300 calories or 10-16 grams of fat
when they leave their homes for restaurants. This tendency makes them amass 12 pounds of fat in a year.
